Im from the Bronx, Bainbridge Ave and Im 21 years of age.


What kind of music do you make? Why? 
I make Party Music and Music you can Chill & Work out to. Why, because anything else wouldnt be considered a true HIT Record.

My Biggest Influences are my Son Lil' Albert, Mother Sandra Bramwell, Dad Albert Senior and Neiborhood Bainbridge Ave BRONX.


If you had to pick a song that describes you, what would it be? Why? 
" Want The Cash" would best describe me cause You need money to survive Nowadayz.

I can't lie to you, Quinton Storm is more than likely to be named my favorite male artist to hit my blog. I featured this heart throb on my April 14th 2011 Music Post with his song Mirror. And when I say he's a heart throb, I definitely mean it! He's won over the hearts of ALL of my female friends and they CONSTANLY talk about how they want a man like Quinton storm, and well, it's because his sweet song and amazing voice won all of us over and instantly made us all "Quinton Storm Fans" .  If he looks familiar, you probably saw him playing "Roger" on Nickelodeon's show "The Next Stop"  ;) Be sure to hit up his twitter account, click on follow, and keep up with his music!!!

What kind of music do you make? Why?
I make Pop/R&B music. I consider myself pop because i dont want to be limited to doing one style of music.

Who/What are the biggest influences on your music
My biggest motivation is anyone who works against all odds to reach there dreams! my musicical inspirations are Brandy, Joe, Micheal Jackson, Usher, R.Kelly, TLC, Aaliyah, Tank & more i LOve music as u can see LOL

If you had to pick a song that describes you, what would it be? Why?
A song that would describe me is Usher - My Way. LOL thats me in a nutshell!! she likes it my way :)

I featured this lyrical genius on my April 4th 2011 Music Post with his song "Electrify" Feat Ms. Lu. This song was my first personal favorite song ever submitted for promo / review for my blog. When I featured this artist, I claimed that he had an "Original Flow" and that his songs will put you in a good mood, and I STILL stand by that statement. If you've been keeping up with my blog, you'd know an artist by the name of Mandi Leigh; well that's his labelmate and all I gotta say is NVE Records is producing greatness. Check out his song "Electrify" along with his remix to Mandi Leigh's song "Whipped Cream"

Where are you from, how old are you?
I am originally from San Antonio Texas, but I been all over the world my parents where in the navy and I joined the Navy after I graduated high school.  My age I am 33 years old.

What kind of music do you make? Why?
I make positive hip hop, emo rap, backpack rap, conscious rap.  Reason being because I believe people need to be inspired and need to hear positive music, and now that I am a father I want to make music my daughter can listen to and be proud of.

Who/What are the biggest influences on your music
My daughter was the main influence behind my upcoming album "My Thoughts".  Sting and Michael Jackson are two big influences, Sting is a great songwriter and Michael Jackson was the ultimate performer.

If you had to pick a song that describes you, what would it be? Why?
"I'm Beaming" by Lupe Fiasco, because people talk about you and try to bring you down, but no matter what I am going to rise above the odds and shine with anything I put my mind to. 

Who would you like to thank for your music career?
Gary Devon for getting me back into music, Darnelle Forde for being a good friend.  My two fans for life Vinny M. and Jeremy G. for checking up on a brother in his downtime

Week of Favorite Spring Time Artists 2011 - Kidd Ques


When I'm looking for an artist to post on my blog, I constantly think one main thing: Does this artist sound like a Famous Artist? Or does this artist sound like he's been influenced by Famous Artist? The difference lies in the creativity of the artists and their works. No one wants a replica of a big time rapper. You need to have a good influence of them though. And the perfect balance, lies with in Kidd Ques. I featured him on my April 28th Music Post, with his song "The other side." He's a lyrical genius. In my eyes, he has a mix of Lupe Fiasco/ and BoB. But he's STILL him and that's what I've enjoyed the most. A GREAT musician can take what they've learned, heard, and watched, and make it their OWN. and Kidd Ques IS a great musician. What kind of music do you make? Why?
I make rap music because I fell in love with rapping the second I heard it so i knew it was for me.

Who/What are the biggest influences on your music
My cousin because he was the one who introduced me to rap music and everyday life

If you had to pick a song that describes you, what would it be? Why?
Kick, Push by Lupe Fiasco because I skateboard so I can easily relate to that song but the line he says in the hook "a rebel looking for a place to go" has been the story of my life since I came to this earth.

God, My family and everything about life because it inspired me to make great music
